Delete it yourself, in about a minute
- Open the SeaStatus app (iPhone or Android), or sign in at www.seastatus.app.
- Go to the Profile tab.
- Choose Delete my account and confirm.
Deletion is immediate and permanent. There is no waiting period.
Can't sign in?
Email support@seastatus.app from the address on your account with the subject Delete my SeaStatus account. We'll delete the account and reply to confirm, normally within a few days.
What is deleted
- Your sign-in (email address and password).
- Your boats, your saved ramp and water, and your saved routes and trips.
- Your profile photo, if you added one.
- Your notification settings and the push tokens registered for your devices.
- Our record of your subscription status.
What is kept
- Your subscription itself. Deleting your account does not cancel a paid subscription, so cancel it first in Google Play, the App Store, or from your receipt email. Google, Apple, Stripe and RevenueCat keep their own transaction records, which they are required to retain for tax and accounting purposes.
- Backups and logs. Backups taken before deletion can persist for a short retention window at our hosting providers, and server request logs are kept by Vercel on its own schedule.
- Anonymous counts. Records that were never linked to you, such as how many times a waterway was viewed, are not tied to your account and stay.
